Tattoo Prices in Pattaya

Booking a session is cheaper per hour than booking the same hours one by one:

• Half-day: four hours at the hourly rate would be ฿16,000. The half-day session is ฿15,000, so you save ฿1,000.
• Full day: eight hours at the hourly rate would be ฿32,000. The full-day session is ฿25,000, so you save ฿7,000, which works out at about ฿3,125 an hour.

Mid-size pieces usually fit a half-day session. Larger work such as sleeves, back pieces and big cover-ups is best planned in full-day sessions.

Because the price follows the time, four things decide what your tattoo costs:

• Size. The bigger the area, the more hours of work.
• Detail and style. Realism, soft black and grey shading and fine detail take longer than bold linework.
• Placement. Ribs, hands, feet and other areas where the skin is thin or moves a lot need a slower, more careful pace.
• Cover-up work. Designing over old ink adds complexity, which is why cover-ups are assessed and quoted individually.

Cover-ups are quoted individually after a free photo assessment. No two cover-ups start from the same place. The quote depends on the same four things Gwen assesses for every cover-up: how dark the old tattoo is, where it sits on the body, the condition of the skin, and the design you want.

If laser fading would genuinely help, Gwen will tell you. Laser is done and paid for separately at a laser clinic. Read laser fading before a cover-up, and see how dark and black tattoos are covered.

A full sleeve or back piece is usually completed over several full-day sessions, with healing time in between. At ฿25,000 per full-day session, the total depends on how many sessions your design needs. Gwen estimates this from your reference before you commit, so you know the plan and the budget from the start.
