Hi, I'm Gwen, a professional tattoo artist from Thailand currently based in Pattaya, with over 16 years of experience in the tattoo industry.
My journey began at the age of 15 as an apprentice in a tattoo studio. Coming from a family with financial challenges, I started working early to help support my education and continue pursuing my passion for art. Tattooing soon became more than just a job — it became the perfect combination of fine art, craftsmanship, and human connection.
Alongside my tattoo career, I earned a Certificate in Fine Arts and later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) at the age of 20. My academic background has greatly influenced the way I approach every tattoo, with a strong focus on composition, balance, anatomy, light, texture, and timeless design.
Throughout my career, I have worked with respected tattoo studios in Thailand — including Monter Ink Tattoo Thailand, Celebrity Ink, and Ink.inc — and have also traveled internationally as a guest artist in China and South Korea. Every experience has allowed me to learn from talented artists, refine my techniques, and continue growing both creatively and professionally.
I specialise in custom tattoo designs, particularly in realism, abstract, and Thai contemporary tattooing. My work often blends classical fine art principles with modern tattoo techniques, creating pieces that are unique to each client rather than copied from existing designs.
For me, every tattoo is a collaboration. I take time to understand each client's story, ideas, and vision before translating them into artwork that complements both their personality and the natural flow of the body. Whether it's a small meaningful piece or a large-scale project, my goal is always to create tattoos that will remain beautiful for years to come.
