Hi, I'm Gwen — Pattaya's leading female tattoo artist, with over 16 years of experience creating custom tattoos rooted in fine arts, craftsmanship, and human connection.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and built my career as a resident artist at Celebrity Ink and Ink.inc. She now works in Pattaya, and has also worked as an international guest artist in China and South Korea.
I specialise in custom tattoo design, realism, and fine-line work — able to design any custom tattoo the client wants, tailored to their ideas and body. English booking available via WhatsApp and Instagram; working with tourists and expats across Pattaya and Pattaya Beach.
All prices in Thai Baht (THB). Final quote depends on size, placement & complexity. Consultation is free.

Book a Private SessionBooking & Pricing
Both are welcome. Appointments are strongly recommended for custom or larger pieces — they guarantee your time slot and let Gwen prepare your design in advance. Walk-ins are accepted subject to availability, usually same day via WhatsApp or Instagram.
A deposit of 30% of your final tattoo price is required to confirm any appointment. It is non-refundable but is fully deducted from your total at the end of your session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice forfeit the deposit. With more than 24 hours notice it can be transferred to a rescheduled date.
You must be 18 years old. A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driving licence) is required at every visit. Arriving without ID means no tattoo and loss of deposit — no exceptions.
A small piece (palm-sized) typically takes 1–3 hours. A half-day session (฿15,000) covers approximately 4 hours of work, while a full-day session (฿25,000) covers approximately 8 hours — ideal for sleeves, back pieces, or complex large work.
Touch-ups are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out via WhatsApp or Instagram with a photo of your healed tattoo and Gwen will advise on whether a touch-up is needed and agree a price with you before booking.
Styles & Design
Gwen works in Realism, Fine Line, Color, Black & Grey, Mandala / Geometric, Cover-Ups, Blackwork, and Lettering. Custom design is the default — every tattoo is designed to what the client wants, not copied from flash sheets.
Yes, cover-ups are a speciality. However, it is important to understand that light colours (yellow, pink, white, light blue) cannot permanently cover dense black ink. For very dark or saturated old tattoos, Gwen may recommend a few laser fading sessions first to achieve the best possible result.
Absolutely. Send your references via Instagram DM or WhatsApp before your consultation and Gwen will adapt them into a unique piece. Direct copies of another artist's work are not accepted out of respect for artistic integrity.
Healing in Pattaya's Tropical Climate
Plan your tattoo for the last 2–3 days of your visit. Swimming in the ocean, pool, or jacuzzi must be avoided for 2–4 weeks after getting tattooed. Submerging a fresh tattoo risks infection, colour loss, and scarring. Showers are fine — just keep them short and avoid direct water pressure on the tattoo.
Going to the beach is not recommended during the healing period. Thailand's heat and direct sun cause sweating that irritates fresh ink, UV exposure permanently breaks down pigment, and saltwater carries bacteria that can cause infection or pigment loss. Wait until your tattoo is fully healed — typically 3–4 weeks — before any beach visits. Gwen will give you a realistic healing timeline at the end of your session.
Surface healing takes approximately 2 weeks — this is the most critical period. Full skin regeneration takes several months. Hot, humid weather can increase sweating around the tattoo; keep it clean and dry, wear loose breathable clothing over it, and avoid activities that cause heavy sweating for the first week.
Gwen provides full aftercare instructions at the end of every session. You will need to source your own supplies beforehand: a fragrance-free gentle soap (Cetaphil works well in Thailand's climate), an unscented moisturiser (Bepanthen or Lubriderm), and loose breathable clothing for the placement area. Avoid petroleum jelly, Vaseline, or anything that traps heat against the skin.
Safety & Hygiene
Single-use, individually sealed needles are used for every client and disposed of immediately after. Inks are sourced from reputable international suppliers. The studio is cleaned and disinfected between every session. Thai Ministry of Public Health regulations (2019) require all practitioners to hold an annual health certificate confirming they are free of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and Tuberculosis.
Yes. Since 2019, the Thai Ministry of Public Health requires tattoo practitioners to pass an annual physical examination and hold a health certificate confirming they are free of communicable diseases including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and Tuberculosis. Studios must also comply with sterilisation and waste-disposal standards published in the Royal Gazette.
Tipping is not obligatory but is genuinely appreciated, especially for custom work you're happy with. A tip of 100–500 THB is a common gesture for shorter sessions; for full-day work, 300–1,000 THB is a thoughtful acknowledgement of the artistry involved. There is never any pressure.
